Welcome! Thank you for your interest in plant medicine. I am a trained clinical herbalist & nutritionist with an advanced degree in medical herbalism from Arbor Vitae School of Traditional Herbalism. My training combined a scientific biomedical education in anatomy & physiology, botany, phytochemistry & nutrition therapeutics together with contemporary practices of Chinese, Ayurvedic & "Western" Eclectic medical traditions. Whether you are needing acute care or an individualized approach to preventing or reversing chronic conditions, I am here to offer guidance. I live in northeast Baltimore where I have been enthusiastically cultivating a 0.7 acre herb farm. I'm a co-coordinator of the Herbalist Without Borders, Baltimore chapter & a clinic mentor for my alma mater, Arbor Vitae. What is my paradigm? 

I believe that health is not just the absence of disease. When given a compass, the human body has the innate power to heal itself. I take a collaborative, holistic approach to consulting. I work closely with each client to develop a customized plan that best fits their unique needs & lifestyle. I believe in empowering my clients with the knowledge & tools they need to maximize wellbeing for long-term sustainable health. 

My herbal methodology is centered in a deep understanding of Yin/Yang & Chinese 5 element theory of earth, air, wind, fire & metal. My efforts are focused on herbal literacy which brings clarity to our current state of ecological apprenticeship with the land & a synergistic balance or imbalance of our internal/external elemental nature. I’m concerned with the dualistic cultural perspectives & ideas of antidote vs poison, the concept of “quackery" vs indigenous wisdom & the dangers of corporate greed upon our health & the health of this planet.
